In my senior year at DePaul University, I produced a podcast for my Capstone in Communication class. In this podcast, I try to answer the research question: What role does social media play in news consumption habits and online engagement?
I talked to three media scholars to investigate this question and issues of political polarization, online behaviors and discussions of news, and the role social media will play in bringing people back together.
